Decoupage Technique is well-known from 17-th century. In France artcrafters used this method for furniture decorating and for enriching other accessories. The word "decoupage" translates from french as "cut-outs". Decoupage is the art of decorating when any object can be covered by gluing with some cut-outs of paper, or other flat material and then lacquer is applied over.
In Russia decoupage technique was always popular for decorating Easter Eggs and
gift boxes. We offer a great collection of traditional Decoupage Icon Eggs - all handcarved and handpainted.
NOTE: Due to Holydays, the wooden
eggs are subject for pre-order. Please verify availability before placing order.
